Now, according to the question
Area of field to be distributed equally among his 4 sons = 2 hectares

= 4.94 acres
Area of field to be distributed to each son = $\frac{4.94}{4}$ acres
= 1.24 acres

Therefore, each son's plot will measure 1.24 acres
