MIcrosporum causes ringworm in humans

a. Two other genera of fungi which cause the same disease are Epidermophyton and Trichophyton.

b. Person infected shows circular ring of red rashes on the skin.

Person affected might feel itching at that particular area.

If infection occurs in foot then it can cause thickening of skin on soles.
