b). Water harvesting is the management of water resource for future use. The process by which rain water is collected and stored either to recharge the ground water or for use in the future is known as rainwater harvesting.

c). Gas made from the anaerobic digestion of agricultural and animal waste is called biogas. Biogas is a clean fuel and has high calorific value. It is used for cooking, lighting of lamps, generating electricity, etc. Also the product left after degradation could be used as manure for fields.
