Solution

a man pushes a box of mass 50 kg with the force of 80 Newton .what will be the acceleration of the box due to this force ? what would be the acceleration if the mass were doubled

This is a fairly simple question.

Use

F = ma

or a= F/m

put

F=80N

m=50kg

then

a = 80/50 = 1.6 m/s²

If mass is doubled, then

m = 2x 50 = 100 kg

Similar to above you can calculate the answer yourself.

a = 0.8 m/s²
