The metal A is silver as silver gets tarnished in air and is used in decoration of sweets.

The metal B is Copper, as copper is the reddish brown metal.

2AgNO3 + Cu →Cu(NO3)2 + 2Ag

Therefore, the compound C is copper nitrate which is blue in colour.
