A) (a) Na due to very high reactivity stored in kerosene oil.
(b) White phosphorus is poisonous and can spontaneously ignite when it comes in contact with air. For this reason, white phosphorus must be stored under water.

B) As moving from left to right in a period the no. of electrons increases in the same shell so due to increase in force of attraction between nucleus and electrons size is decreases and as moving down the group the no. of shells increases so as a result size increases.
