A purse contains some Rs. 5 coins and some Rs. 10 coins . If the total number of this coins is 20 and the total value of this coins is Rs. 165 , Find the number of Rs. 10 coins in the purse.

Let the total no. of Rs 10 coins be x.
Hence no. of Rs 5 coins=20-x
Value of
Rs. 10 coins=10x
Rs. 5 coins=5(20-x) =100-5x
AQ, 10x+100-5x=165
5x=165-100
X=65/5=13
Hence, the no.
of Rs 10 coins=x=13
Rs 5 coins=20-13=7
