A ray of light passes undeviated when incident on a (i) convex lens (ii) concave mirror. Name the point on the principle axis, through which the ray must have passed in each case.

(i) Convex lens-
A ray of light passing through the optical centre of a convex lens goes straight or undeviated after refraction through the lens.
(ii) Concave mirror-
There is no refraction or deviation in mirrors. Light is only reflected here.
A ray of light passing through the centre of curvature of a concave mirror is reflected back along the same path.
