So, suppose length and breadth of the room are 7x and 4x respectively.
Height of room = 3.4 m
We know that area of four walls of room = 2h(l + b)
And given area of four walls of room = 224.4 ${\mathrm{m}}^2$
So, the area of four walls of room is given by;
$$\begin{gathered} 2\times 3.4\left(7x+4x\right)=224.4 \\ \Rightarrow 6.8\times 11x=224.4 \\ \Rightarrow 74.8x=224.4 \\ \Rightarrow x=\frac{224.4}{74.8}=3 \end{gathered}$$
So, length of room = $7\times 3$= 21 m
And breadth of room = $4\times 3$ = 12 m
