A solid ice cube is floating in a glass of water which is filled just to the brim .What happens to the water levek when the ice melts completely?

If we drop a piece of ice in a jar of water then after that ice melts. The level of water remains the same. Because, apparent weight of ice = weight of the displaced water When ice melts, it occupies the volume of displaced water. So water remains at the same level. Also we can say the density of ice is less than the water, so water level remains the same.
