Question

a sound wave of frequency 100 hz is travelling in air the speed of sound in air is 350m/s by how much the phase changed at a given point in 2.5m

Open in App
Solution

speed = frequency * wavelength
350= 100 * wavelength
wavelength= 3.5 m
So phase difference = 2.5 /3.5 * 2π
ans = 1.42 π radians
