Question

A student dissolved 1g of sugar in 10ml of distilled water in a beaker A. He dissolved 10g of sugar in 100ml of distilled water in beaker B. He dissolved 10g of sugar in 100ml of distilled water in beaker B. Then he dropped a few raisins, in each. After two hours what would he find?

The concentration of both the solutions is the same in both the beakers so the rate of absorption would also be roughly equal. So after two hours roughly equal amount of water would be absorbed if the raisins in beaker A have already not absorbed 10 ml of water.
