According to Rutherford's molel of an atom,the electrons radiate energy when they revolve in the orbits.But what is the reason that electrons moving in discrete orbits do not radiate energy?

Electron moving in a stationary orbit doesnot radiate energy because in these discrete orbits the angular momentum of an electron is quantized.The electron has a fixed energy and it doesnot absorb or lose energy.
