Question

Air contains 78% nitrogen. So when we inhale we are taking in a lot of nitrogen as well as oxygen right? Is this nitrogen harmful for our body or does it have any use?

Yes, we are indeed taking all the gases present in air but only oxygen is absorbed by our lungs, the remaining is released out as waste gases or blocked by air passage.
