Open in App
Solution

No, not all elements are artificially prepared. Most of the elements occur in nature and present to certain extent o earth’s crust. Certain elements which are very very less occur in nature and certain elements does not occur I nature, hence are artificially prepared.

The naturally occurring elements are those with atomic numbers from 1 (hydrogen) to 92 (uranium). Elements with atomic numbers higher than 92 are called Transuranium Elements which have been produced artificially.

Neptunium (at.no. 93) was the first synthetic transuranium element (elements after uranium) of the actinide series to be discovered. Followed by Plutonium (at.no. 94) and others that are synthetically prepared.
