An alloy is produced by combining two parts of copper with three parts of zinc by weight .how many kg of copper is needed to produce 500 kg of the aaloy ?

Parts of copper by weight = 2
Parts of zinc by weight = 3
Total parts of copper and zinc in alloy = (2 + 3) = 5
Amount of alloy to be produced = 500 kg
So total amount of copper required to produce 500 kg of alloy = 5005×2=200 kg
