Solution

Here total number = 50

From 1 to 50, number multiple of 2 = 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20,22,24,26,28,30,32,34,36,38,40,42,44,46,48,50 = 25 numbers

From 1 to 50, number multiple of 3 but not multiples of 2 = 3,9,15,21,27,33,39,45 = 8 numbers

From 1 to 50, number multiple of 5 but not multiples of 2 or 3 = 25,35 = 2 numbers

From 1 to 50, number multiple of 6 but not included the multiples of 2,3,5 = 0 number

So total number which are multiples of 2 or 3 or 5 or 6
= 25 + 8 + 2 = 35
Hence probability = number of favourable events/number of sample spaces = 35/50 = 7/10 (Ans)
