an object of mass 500 gis immersed into measuring jar containing water.the initial level of water in measuring jar is 50 cc.due to immersion of the object the water level rises in the measuring jar and reaches to 100 cc.calculate the mass of the water displaced due to the immersion of the object.

Archimedes principle: When a body is immersed fully or partially in a fluid, it experiences an upward force that is equal to the weight of the fluid displaced by it.

Mass of object immersed = Mass of water displaced
