A = {P applies for job},
B = {Q applies for job}

Then P(A)=14, P(A/B)=12 ...(1)
& P(B/A)=13 ...(2)

Using (2)
P(BA)P(A)=13

P(BA)=112

Using (1)

P(BA)P(B)=12

P(B)=16

So P(¯A¯B)=P(¯A¯B)P(¯B)=1P(AB)1P(B)

=1(14+16112)116=23×65=45
