element = Lithium
group = 1 and period = 3

b) X, Y and Z have consecutive atomic number. If X is a noble gas then Z will be a alkaline earth metal. Symbol for its ion will be Z2+

c) Since X is a noble gas and Z is an alkaline earth metal, so no such compounds formed between them.
