Anwars bank balance was Rs 120. His deposits and withdrawals are represented by + Rs 25, Rs 10, Rs 21, + Rs 100.Find his bank balance now.

Initial bank balance Rs 120.

we add his deposits to his initial bank balance and subtract the withdrawals from it.

So, we get 120 + 25 - 10 - 21 + 100

we bring the terms with same operation together and get

120 + 100 + 25 - 10 - 21 = 245 - 31 ,

as we know - - becomes + and sign of larger number is considered

Thus, 245 - 31 = 214 (answer)

At last, his account balance is Rs.214.
