Are all ionic compounds soluble in water? why?

Most of the ionic compounds are soluble in water because they dissociate into ions in water and the ions get surrounded by water molecules.But there are some ionic compounds such as some carbonates, hydroxides, sulphides etc. which are not soluble in water.
