Question

are all opaque objects are luminous objects?

Open in App
Solution

Luminous objects are those objects which have their own light. They are sources of light. For eg. sun, moon, table lamp etc.
Opaque object are those which do not allow light to pass through them.
As table, chair etc. all are opaque objects but are not sources of light. So we can infer that those all opaque objects are not necessarily luminous bodies.
