are planaria multicellular or unicellular ? is their reproduction synonymous with their growth ?

Solution

In Planaria reproduction is of two types – sexual and asexual. Sexually they are hermaphrodites which mean both male and female sexes are present in same organism. Asexually they can reproduce by the process of regeneration in which if a single body part gets detached due to some reasons, they can grow into a new organism from that detached portion.
