Autotrophs are the organisms that can prepare there own food. the mode of nutrition of an autotroph is known as autotrophic nutrition. Autotrophic nutrition can be of two types – photoautotrophic and chemoautotrophic.
Photoautotrophic – they use light energy to prepare food
Chemoautotrophic – they need chemicals to prepare their food
