Question

as apple falls on earth way not moon falls?

Open in App
Solution

The apple will fall in the same way only as on earth. The difference will be in the acceleration of fall because the gravitational force acting on apple due to moon will be less as mass of moon is less than the mass of earth. Therefore, acceleration due to gravity of falling apple will be less on moon due to less gravitational force.
