Question

As we know that transparent things pass light then if solution is clean and transparent then why does it not pass light?

Solution

The essential requirement for the light to pass through any substance is that the particles of the substance must allow transmission of light with little reflection, so solutions are highly transparent and they allow light to transmit through them. However, solutions do not scatter light and thus the path of light is not visible in solutions.
