Solution

We are able to see atoms by using modern techniques but size of atom is not known. We can not see the surface of atom by using any technique. Only graphical representation is given to define the structure of atom. So there is not a term like surface of atom. We just see the electrons arrangement in atom by using modern techniques. And atoms are so small in size that we can not see it by naked eyes.
