automobiles are fitted with a devise that shows the distance travelled. a car is driven from bubaneshwar to new delhi. the difference between the final and initiall reading is 1850 km. find the magnitude of the displacement between bubaneshwar and new delhi by using the road map of india.

For finding out the displacement:
1. Take a map and mark Delhi and Bhubaneshwar on the map.
2. Draw a straight line joining these two dots.
3. Use a scale and measure the distance between the two.
4. Multiple this distance with the scale of the map which is given in the bottom right corner of the map. for ex.which would be given as 300 km for 1 cm.
5. Multiply the scale of the map with the measurement in the scale.
That is the displacement between Delhi and Bhubaneshwar.
