Balance the following equations:-

a) hydrogen reacts with chlorine to give hydrogen chloride gas

b) zinc reacts with sulphuric acid to form zinc sulphate and hydrogen gas

c) dilute sulphuric acid reacts with aluminium powder to form aluminium sulphate and hydrogen gas

d) carbon dioxide is passed through lime water to give calcium carbonate and water

e) dilute hydrochloric reacts with sodium carbonate to form NaCl , water and carbon dioxide

Balanced equation for the above reactions are as follows:
1. H2 + Cl2 -----> 2 HCl
2. Zn + H2SO4 ----> ZnSO4 + H2
3. 2Al + 3H2SO4 ------> Al2(SO4)3 + 3H2
4. CO2 + H2CO3 -------> CaCO3 + H2O
5. 2 HCl (dil.) + Na2CO3 -------> 2NaCl + CO2 + H2O
