Bat uses the Ultra Sound to locate the area or a prey then why they can fly at day time?
There are basically two kinds of bats based on size. The megabats are large in size, and include fruit bats and flying foxes. The smaller bats are called microbats. They include insect eaters, nectar drinkers and the blood sucking vampire bats. The megabats are only active during the day and do not use ultrasound for echolocation. The insectivorous microbats are mostly active at night and use echolocation to hunt down their insect prey. They usually roost in a dark place during the day, such as a cave. They may be seen outside during day time when they are affected with rabies.
