both banana and sugarcane have lost the ability to produce seeds.how can they be cultivated on commercial scale?

Banana and sugarcane plants are propagated and cultivated by vegetative propagation (asexual reproduction) in which part of plants are used to grow the whole plant. Banana is propagated through underground stem called as corm and sugarcane from part of mature cane. Nowadays modern propagation technique are used which includes tissue culture or micro-propagation.
