Solution

UV-A is not absorbed by the ozone layer and UV-B is mostly absorbed by the ozone layer, but some does reach the Earth’s surface.UV-A and UV-B radiation that reaches the Earth’s surface contributes to the serious health effects. It also contributes to environmental impacts. Levels of UV-A radiation are more constant than UV-B, reaching the Earth’s surface without variations due to the time of day or year. It is said that the UV-A rays are absorbed primarily within the eye’s lens, and they are not as harmful as UV-B.
