both water & wind pollinated flowers r nt very colourful & do nt produce nectar. wat wuld be the reason 4 dis?
Pollination happens in two ways.
90% of flowering plants are pollinated by animals, 9.08 % of pollination is done by wind and the rest of the 0.2% is only done by water. Plant flowers are bright coloured and attract insects and flowers produce nectar to attract animal pollinators. Since wind and water pollination happens through abiotic factors therefore wind and water pollinated flowers are not colourful and not producing nectar.
