Mass of earth, M e = 6 × 10 24 kg

Mass of sun, M s = 2 × 10 30 kg

Distance, R = 1.5 × 10 11 m

Universal gravitational constant, G = 6.67 × 10 -11 Nm 2 /kg 2

Force of gravity, F = GM e M s /R 2

=> F = (6.67 × 10 -11 ) × (6 × 10 24 ) × (2 × 10 30 )/( 1.5 × 10 11 ) 2

=> F = 3.56 × 10 22 N
