Question

Can an electric field be uniform. As if we consider a charge which creates its field then it changes from point to point, then how can it be uniform.

Solution

Electric field due to the point charge in not uniform as it varies with the distance.
It is inversely proportional to the the square of the distance between the source charge and observation point.

But electric field due to the infinite plane sheet is uniform i.e. constant.
It does not depend on the distance between the sheet and observation point.
