can two different DNA s remain in the cell of a human body ? if yes how does this happen and if no then in the hershey chase exp. when the dna of virus goes into the bacteria how it synthesise as if it is its own DNA .
In human somatic cell there are two types of DNA present together – chromosomal DNA inside nucleus and mitochondrial DNA in mitochondria. Moreover in reproductive cells there are X or Y chromosome DNA which are different from autosomal DNA. All these DNAs can stay and replicate independently within the single cell. Thus in Hershey and Chase model the DNA of a virus can replicated independently within the bacterial cell.
