(a) Out of copper, aluminium, silver, pure water, mercury; pure water is the odd one as it is a bad conductor of current but copper, aluminium, silver and mercury are good conductor of current. Further, except water all are elements and metal but pure water is a compound.
(b) charging by induction is odd out of charging by conduction, charging by induction and charging by friction because in both charging by conduction and charging by friction a contact between the objects is necessary and real transfer of charge of occur from one object to another object. But in charging by induction a contact between the objects in not required and neither there is real transfer of charge from one object to another object.
