co2 is a gas under normal conditions of temperature and pressure can be liquidified by compressing it to 70 atm at ordinary temperature.what happens when pressure is suddenly realsed?

Solution

If, by applying pressure a gas is converted to liquid at given temperature then by releasing the pressure it will again convert into gas at same temperature.
So by suddenly releasing the pressure, CO₂ liquid turn into CO₂ gas.
