colour blindness is caused by-
a: vitamin A deficiency
b: defective rod cells
Color blindness is not a vitamin deficiency.
Colour blindness is a genetic disorder because of which a person is not able to distinguish between some of the colors, which other people can recognize easily.
People usually have three types of cone cells in the eye. Each type senses either red, green, or blue light.
Color blindness occurs when one of these types of cone cells are either absent or they don 't work properly. A person suffering from color blindness cant see one of these three colors or may see different shades of that color or a different color.
