Open in App
Solution

Gymnosperm Pterydophyte
The gametophytes are smaller in size. The gametophytes are larger than gymnosperms.
Pollen tube develops as a result of germination of pollens. No such structure develops in pterydophytes.
The microspores are dispersed by light or wind immediately after development. The spores cannot be dispersed so easily.
Megaspores remain inside the megasporangium. Megaspores are shed out from the sporangia and develop into independent prothallus.
