Compare the principle of prevention with the principle of treatment of different diseases.

Principle of prevention:- As the definition suggest prevention is phenomenon to prevent any occurrence of disease by eliminating the risk factors that may cause the disease.
Principle of treatment:- Treatment simply means treating the cause of the disease where by the cause is targeted an eliminated by use of a drug or procedure.

1. Lung cancer:- In order to prevent lung cancer a person is required to eliminate the risk factor which includes cigarette smoking, working in hazardous occupation with exposure to silica, iron.
If someone already has lung cancer than the basis is to treat the cancer, this is done by using anticancer drugs which target the cancer in the body.

2. Malaria:- In order to prevent malaria, a person is required to eliminate the risk factors such as keeping the surroundings clean, keeping the water sanitised, wearing full sleeves clothes.
If some one is infected with malaria, then it is treated using anti-malarial drugs.
