Solution

The compounds such as alcohol and glucose also contains hydrogen but are not categorised as acids. This can be proved by taking the solution of the alcohol and glucose in separate beakers. Then put a litmus paper in it . If the colour of the litmus paper does not change that will indicate that these are neutral i.e neither acidic nor basic.
