1. In terms of the French Revolution, nationalism involved all members of the Third estate joining against monarchy. Even some members such as Mirabeau who were from the nobility, wanted special privileges to be discarded.
2. The entire French countryside wanted to liberate itself and to set up a constitutional monarchy and wanted to free other European nations as well.
