• When a voltage is applied to a circuit then the measure of the opposition that a circuit presents to the passage of current is called Impedance.i.e the opposition offered by the whole circuit is impedance.
• The opposition offered by the inductor or capacitor or by both to the flow of alternating current in a circuit is known as reactance.
• The opposition offered by a resistor to the flow of alternating current in a circuit is known as resistance.
