  1. A body is said to be moving with a variable speed if it covers equal distance in unequal intervals of time or unequal distances in equal intervals of time, howsoever small these intervals may be.
  2. A body travels with variable speed when it is traveling with uniform or non-uniform acceleration.
  3. For example- A car traveling in a crowded market is an example of variable speed.
