Dictatorships are better than democracy in terms of their economic growth, in short term and not in the long term. Dictatorships edge over democracies in case of economic growth because in the former case the decision making is by single body and arbitrary whereas in a democratic country the public debates and delegation takes longer time to arrive at a decision.
