Difference between beta ray and electron/positron ?

Beta ray consist of fast moving electrons and thus cariies a negative charge. They travel with almost a speed of light.These radiation are less heavier than aplpha ray and more heavier as compared to that of gamma radiation.
Electon is simply a particle having a negative charge on it.

Whereas positron is the antiparticle of electron which carries a chrge of +e on it.It's mass is same as that of an electron and has sopin equal to 1/2.
