Degree Celsius relates to, the Celsius temperature scale (previously known as the centigrade scale). The scale based on 0 for the freezing point of water and 100 for the boiling point of water. 0o C accounts to 273.15 K.
Kelvin scale, which is the SI base unit of temperature (symbol: K). It has as its zero point absolute zero, the theoretical temperature at which the molecules of a substance have the lowest energy. 0K accounts to -273.15oC
They both are related as:
K = °C + 273.15
°C = K − 273.15
