Solution

Bhangar is the old alluvium deposit found in northern plains. It is present in the form of a terrace like feature. The soil in this region consists of calcareous deposits known as kankar.

Khadar is the soil formed by newer and younger deposits in flood plains. The soil is renewed every year and is fertile for intensive agriculture.
